TO ALL GRADE 8s:  MATH HELP during TUTORIAL time is up and running again.  Come to room 305 at 8:40am on Wednesday mornings for that extra math support.  This opportunity for math help will end after Spring Break.

BNS Musical Theatre Company Presents: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

March 6, 7, 8 and 9th at 7:00PM in the Drama Studio (North Building)    We will be selling tickets everyday at lunch beginning Tuesday, February 20th in the North Foyer.  Tickets are $13 for adults and $10 for students.  If you would like to be one of the first lucky 50 to see the show, you are invited to see our VIP Preview Show on March 5th.  Tickets for the VIP will be $15 dollars, and you will receive a complementary beverage and cheesecake.  See the Fine Arts Council at lunch for tickets!

EXIT INTERVIEWS: Grade 12 students who have not yet completed the Exit Interview must complete their interview on March 1, 2018.

KARING 4 KIDS – PINK SHIRT SALE  Karing 4 Kids will be having a Pink Shirt sale TODAY,  Monday, Feb. 26 at lunch in the foyer, in preparation for Pink Shirt Day.  Shirts will sell for only $10!       Mr. Sokugawa

WORK EXPERIENCE

Burnaby Fire Department is offering a four-day firefighting academy, April-26 open to students in grades 10-12. Visit Career Programs for details. Deadline for applications April 5th.

Work Experience Opportunity:

Better Business Bureau: Do you want to work with a friend over spring break in an office environment? The BBB needs 2 students for each week of spring break.

VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL:   Hey guys, we will be having a meeting for the Children’s Festival on Monday at lunch in Room 219.                                               Mr. Archibald

BC Special Olympics: Office / Public Relations work experience available for a pair of students working from the BC Special Olympics office near Hastings & Boundary. Good opportunity for a pair of self-motivated students able to work with little supervision.

Burnaby Village Museum: Weekend work experience at Burnaby Village Museum. Two students per day, so bring a friend and come to Career Programs.
