2019 Grads! The short lists for Valedictorian and Grad Ensemble Candidates have now been posted in Student Services (Ms. Smith’s door) and outside the main school office (115).
Staff and Grade 12 students are invited to attend the Valedictorian election in the North Gym on Wednesday, April 24th , during tutorial. At this time, the candidates will pitch themselves to the graduating class of 2019; this is your opportunity to support your classmates and vote for your ideal candidate! Speeches will begin promptly at 8:40am, after which Grads will have the opportunity to vote for their Valedictorian 2019! Ms. Smith
SCHOLARSHIP OFFERS: Attention all GRADE 12 STUDENTS if you have received a scholarship offer of any kind and you would like to be recognized in the School Leaving Program in June you must. Click STUDENT on the school website then click SCHOLARSHIP INFO FOR GRADE 12 STUDENTS then click FORMS. Individual amounts will not be made public and you can share multiple offers! The deadline for this is May 8, 2019.
PAWS CITY will be having a waffle sale on Friday, April 26th at lunch in the North foyer. We will be serving animal themed waffles and complementary topping will be included.
–Work Experience Week! April 29-May 3 has both a Pro-D Day and a Goal Day, so you can complete five days of work experience and only miss three days of school. Visit CP for opportunities
–Sunrise Hastings Physio: Long-term, part-time physio work experience available at Sunrise Hastings Physio near the PNE. You do not miss school but you need to speak Cantonese for this placement.
–Canoe & kayak summer camp work experience available at Burnaby Lake – come to Career Programs.
