- Read a copy of the letter previous emailed to families (Grade 8 Welcome Letter, Grade 9-12 Welcome Letter). If you didn’t receive the email, please verify your contact information is complete/accurate in MyEducation. If you need to make changes, please contact the office.
On opening day, Burnaby North Leadership students and the Administrative Team will be throughout the school property to help students find their classrooms.

Leadership students will be wearing t-shirts that say “Leadership” and wearing a Burnaby North lanyard and will be able to assist students as they navigate campus.
All students will attend only Period 1 class on the first day of school; the regular rotation of all classes begins on the second day of instruction.
Grades 9-12:
- 11:00-11:30 – Gr 9-12 students go to their Period 1 classroom (see student schedule in MyEd)
- Sports Academy students please go to the Library
- Any grade 9-12 students who do not have Period 1 class are asked to review the Opening Day Presentation
Grade 8s:
- 1:00 -2:30 – Gr 8 students go to the North Gym
- Leadership students will accompany the grade 8 students from the gym to their Block 1 classes where they will complete activities and go on a school tour.
