As our school campus takes shape, please see attached map of updated pedestrian and traffic pathways for Burnaby North.
New cross walks, sidewalks, and signage have been added to ensure traffic safety on our campus. Please be mindful of our pedestrian pathways dropping off or picking up students at North.

Drop-Off & Parking Changes
In effect Sept. 2025–Click for a larger image. Note the former North Staff Lot (access from Hammarsjkold) is now visitor parking, no permit required.
The Drop-Off Lane entrance is just before the crosswalk in the middle of Hammarskjold Drive. All student/visitor traffic must enter here. Drop-Off is available only in the right/curb lane.
There is NO STOPPING on the crosswalk or the left lane.
The left lane is for thru traffic only to access the South Parking Lot or Kensington Exit. If you have arrived early for pickup, please park in the North Parking Lot to wait.

There is NO STUDENT DROP-OFF in the Staff or South Lots.
The new staff parking entrance/exit at the north end of campus.
Use the right/drop-off lane in front of the main entrance & wait your turn for a space. Do not block the bus zones or crosswalks. The left lane is for thru-traffic only–NO STOPPING.

Parking for the Conference Centre, Sports Fields, School Visitors, and Students is now available in the North Parking Lot (enter from the main driveway or directly from Hammarskjold Drive).

The new Staff Parking lot is accessed via the North Parking lot or the road from the driveway.

Student & Visitor Street Parking is available on Hammarskjold, Kensington, and Curtis.

There are now turn restrictions for accessing the South Parking Lot (off of Curtis).

During morning rush hours, there is NO LEFT TURN from Curtis into the parking lot. Approach from the East or drop off passengers in the Kensington Rink Parking Lot.

After school, cars exiting the South Parking Lot must turn right onto Curtis. This is the ONLY EXIT from this parking lot. If you wish to proceed east on Curtis, you must use the main driveway pickup lane.
