Over the next few days, students will make appointments with their teachers for Goal Day.
The purpose of these sessions is for teachers and students to have individual or small learning group tutorials, make plans for successful completion of the course, and/or receive individual assistance.
While teachers may make specific appointments with specific students, most also schedule larger tutorial groups or open drop-in for students needing extra help with past, current, or upcoming work. Students should check with their course teachers about the specific options/requirements for each teacher/course.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE PE DEPARTMENT REGARDING GOAL DAY APPOINTMENTS
As PE is offering group activities on goal days for kids to make up activity time missed, the PE staff would appreciate it if you could work around the following activity times for students who have been asked to make up time for PE:
Grades 8 & 9, all classes: 9:00 am – 10:00 am in South Gym
Grades 10 – 12, all classes: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm in North Gym
Grades 10 – 12 (Ms Peter’s classes): 8:00 am – 10:00 am in the Aux Gym
Please note: Goal Day is a school day. Your son or daughter is required to attend if requested by his/her teacher.
