CANADIAN OPEN MATH CHALLENGE (COMC): This contest is generally written by senior students with a strong Mathematical aptitude. It is 2.5 hours long; short-answer and full-solution problems. No calculators allowed. The contest will be written (in the morning) in the Gallery on Thursday, October 29th. Any students interested in writing the COMC must sign up here, and you must pay $25 to Ms. Young (in room 305) by Oct. 9th, otherwise a contest will not be ordered for you.
